Applying For A Reduced Fare

If you are 62+ years old, receive Medicare or have a disability, we encourage you to apply for a reduced fare. Forms are available on our Forms & Applications page under the Eligibility Qualifications section. You may also request one by calling (269) 337-8222 or visiting the Metro office at 530 N. Rose St. in Kalamazoo.

We require input from your physician or caseworker for a disability and a copy of any photo ID confirming your age if you’re a senior. Once approved, you will be able to ride for 75¢ on Metro buses.
