Technical Issues with the Token Transit App

Payment Backup Options

If you’re taking the bus or using Metro Connect, you can purchase a boarding pass with the Token Transit app. In the event that either the app or your mobile device is not working, you can pay in cash. Please note that drivers are unable to make change, so we recommend having your exact fare when you board. You can also purchase a paper boarding pass from Metro's customer service counter at the Kalamazoo Transit Center. As a backup, it’s a good idea to be prepared to pay your fare by other means (such as cash or tokens).
